Hi Everyone,
We have Black Ameraucanas and a Black Copper Maran. I thought they would grow up to look different, but look exactly the same to me. The only difference is that one of my chickens has feathered feet. Would this be my Black Copper Maran??? Can Ameraucanas also have feathered feet?

Some marans have feathered legs. The Ameraucana should not have feathered legs.

THANKS!!! I had a feeling, but wanted to be 100% sure. I thought hatching my own babies would make my life easier, but goofy me decided to stick everyone together and separate them when they grew up. Didn't think they would all look so similar. The only ones who I can really tell apart are my White Silkies, Russian Orloffs, and Blue Americaunas. I can't tell my Easter Eggers apart from my Buff Orpingtons or any of my black birds. Aiy-ya-yai!!!
