I think my peafowl capturing days are over. I am 75 years old and just can't do it anymore. BUT I still need to treat my birds for
fleas. I spray their coop with Permethrin .5% and sprinkle permethrin powder in their outside pen where they take their dust baths,
but I can still see some sticktight fleas on their necks. They seem otherwise healthy and happy - do not appear distressed. Is there
any other method of treating them for fleas without physically catching them?

You can spray their roost with malathion.you can also spray them from a distance but don't get it in their eyes, nostrals and ears.
In N.H.,Tony.

Some people will dust them on the roost at night but be careful of making any scary noises so they don't launch. Use a very low light and do not shine on their faces, green or red works best.

I had not thought of using a green or red light. Thank you for that. I will try it.
