How can we spoil our chicks?

Hello. What do chicks love? What would be the best way to spoil our 2.5 week old chicks rotten and make loveable little lap chickens out of them?

Also, when can we take them outdoors to play? How warm does it need to be outside? I am in Southern California and our weather doesn't know it is winter.

I am trying "Farmers' Helper UltraKibble for Chicks" (mixed in their starter feed), and also "Farmers' Helper BabyCake for Chicks" (a couple hours a day per the bags instructions).

Scrambled eggs! Mine go crazy for it! And holding them as much as possible!

Yeah, we always spoil our chickens rotten; even our roosters are lap birds! My suggestion is to play with them as much as possible! We like to make little nests out of cloth and carry the chicks around in them, and take a nap with one or two of them outside! Most of all, treat them nicely and don't ever scare or hurt them. They love playing in the dirt and grass, to let them out often! If you let them outside, make sure you are constantly watching them.

I let mine play outside briefly if the temperature is 60 or higher, it is sunny, and there is no wind. I sit with them and take them in immediately if any of them start to look cold.

The first treats I give are crushed cheerios. Make sure they have Chick Grit available if you feed them anything other than chick starter.

I like to hand feed them little treats to make them more tame. Mine love stale bread.

Oh and when I really want to spoil them I open a can of tuna fish for them. They go crazy.

We got our 3week old babies last week and I'd bought dried mealworms for them at the tsc... With chick grit of course (I type like I know what I'm talking about I've had these babies for a whole week!). Anyway they just love them and will even eat them out of my 3yo's hand if she promises to be quiet and not shriek from the excitement.

I also have frozen corn on the cob that I microwave for one minute and cut off the cob and they love that too. But with that they're all business to gobble it up... No fooling around!
