How can you humanely kill a chook?

there are quite a few threads on this topic already...some even explain in great detail

me~~I euthanize them with ether (found in starter fluid).....quick, painless, and I can hold & pet them until they go to heaven
 
What exactly is a chook? Sorry still learning the lingo round here

I chopped off the head of my sick one.One chop and it was all over.I was a *baby* and covered her head,so she could not see it coming.
