How can you stand the waiting?!?

...for the first eggs.

Seriously...I'm starting to just stare at them and will them to lay, and my oldest are only 14 weeks.

Stinks, doesn't it. I hate to tell you this, but you've got a ways to go! My first 2 chickens didn't lay until 32 weeks.

14 weeks old and you are already going crazy! LOLOLOLOLO You might have a longgggggg wait. My girls (different breeds same age) started laying at 27weeks and the last laid when they were 37weeks old... SO, pull up a chair and relax.. I will never start looking for eggs from a pullet before she is 30weeks old.. IF she lays sooner--wonderful== and if she is later---than 30weeks, It's not quite soo long of a wait.. I was told 18weeks was point of lay----but I think that is miss givings....in production breeds maybe...
