I have a Black Austrolorp that I recently rescued from an abusive home that starved and negelected the health and well-being of their birds. She is an older girl who is very short legged and very slow moving.... At first I noticed a bad white and red mite infestation which I treated. I noted that she had some wheezing and a bit of discharge from her nostrils. I treated that with soluable solmet....Now however she is still not laying and has a very soft layer of skin under her vent that feels like there is fulid underneath......is her bag busted???

Thanks for any help.........

Timmy

You are very nice to help that poor hen. She may not be laying because of age and stress from the move. Hopefully somone with more experience can help you!
