How close can 2 coops be?

Hi I am new as new can get so my question is how close can my coop and my neighbors be from each other? We share a chain link fence my coop on one side hers on the other. I don't have my chicks yet May 26. She has a very healthy flock that is 2 years old and they are in the big field behind her house all day running around and having a good old time.

well congrats on your chicks( when they get here) they shouldnt have a problem aslong as they arent any roos on your side or your neighbors. all of my coops and tied together and the only problem I have is the roos want to fight but thats it.....

Yep, they should be fine. Some roos wont fight, but some will. If they do fight you can always put up something solid about 3 feet tall, so the roos cant see other, and they should fix the fighting.
