Ok, she’s a pekin bantam, I heard they take longer than usualit all depends on the breed and when you got her. most breeds lay around 5-6 months for example. you get them as chicks in july around December to jan they start laying normally.
She’s 25 weeksfrom what i looked up 6-8 months and she looks about 5ish months if im guessing correct?
Oh that would be nice, problem is that my older hens see her poking around the boxes and then kick her outIf she's been inspecting nest boxes I'd guess 1-2 weeks. She may start, then stop once days grow shorter, but would pick up again faster than older birds would.
Ah, well, they do that. You could try curtains for a little more privacy in the boxes, or hopefully they don't harass her to the point that she decides the boxes aren't safe.Oh that would be nice, problem is that my older hens see her poking around the boxes and then kick her out
