How cold is too cold for no lamp and water?

I recently moved my ducklings to a baby pool as a brooder to give them more room until I can get outside digs set up but right now time is limited AND it’s just been inconsistent temps yet.

I did not set their lamp back up as they no longer seem to even lay under the lamp and always seem to pant when they are under it (the other brooder was just getting too small, so maybe it really was to warm).

Should they still have a lamp?
They are in an attached garage and even when the temps are in the teens and 20s outside the garage stays in the low to mid 50s.

Also, today they want it 70 degrees. I have a second pool and today I was thinking of filling it with water (and stepping stones to create steps and a Little Rock patio lol) and attaching it right to their current pen so they can come and go as they please.
(Well except my Shaky duck who cannot walk, I would have to help him into the pool and have to baby sit him of course).
But tonight they want it 50 (so the garage should keep pretty warm) but tomorrow they only want it 20 at night.... would I have to take the water away at night? Is 50 inside too cold for the ducklings to be wet?

Thanks in advance!

If wet yes. If they aren’t completely feathered in 20’s might be a bit too cold could you have heat lamp set so it gives some heat for those who need it. Young duckling without adequate feathering can chill pretty fast. How’s your little one doing?

Thank you!

He is still going. Still giving him the B complex, and switched his food to Nutrina because I recently read it had more Niacin. Also he has a harness on order.
Everyone seems to like the kiddy pool a lot more, they like seeing out and Shakey moves around a lot more in it.

Unfortunately with the move, Shakey is more shaky again. Hopefully he calms down the next few days as they settle in more.
