how cold?

my oeg hen just started laying and its starting to get cold at night. she's not setting yet, so i was wondering how cold it can get before the eggs are ruined. im thinking of putting them in the incubator tomorrow, but its supposed to drop to the mid 30's tonight and im afraid it will be too late.

also, how many times a day must eggs be turned? ive heard 3-4 is recommended but once in the morning and once in the evening is the best i can do.

The eggs will be fine as long as they don't freeze. I turned mine twice a day & still had a great hatch rate. Put some refridgerated eggs in the bator with them, & if they're fertile, they should hatch too. Happy hatching!

how long can they stay in the fridge?

They are hatchable for up to 10- 12 days after they are laid, in or out of the fridge. The mortality rate increases as the eggs get older,& after day 12, your hatch can be decreased by half or more.
