How common are double yolkers??

I guess that does mean our hen is quite fertile.

Our RIR's just started laying recently and we have had several doubles and two days ago we actually got a triple yoker!!!

We get several doubles a week from one of our RIRs and her eggs are enormous! I'm waiting for a triple....

I get 2 or 3 doubles out of my ducks every week, but none from my chickens. A double yolk duck egg is HUGE. The first time I showed one to my husband he said, "Ow!"
