How common are off-color sports? (Dark Cornish)

The chick is showing color in the wings now. However it is MUCH more white on the tips than usual. I'm wondering if it is a colored sport instead of a Dark.

The unfortuately, the chick is now indistinguishable from its hatch mates. I need to get a toe punch for these sorts of anomalies.

So it did turn out to be a dark, just more white. That’s interesting!

Yeah, the light colored down wasn't indicative of plumage coloration.
