How did he get up there?

I heard a chick doing that distress chirping noise they make when they get out of the box and get lost. I was crawling all over the floor in the mudroom moving things around and couldn't find him. I finally discovered him 6 feet above the floor.

a mix of climbing, jumping and flying would be my guess. at this age they love to stretch their wings and legs and amuse themselves by jumping around on and off things and trying to fly
