How did I get 3 eggs from 2 chickens????

Three eggs in the nest today. I KNOW there wasn't one missed yesterday because I cleaned out the nests and replaced all the bedding material. I only have two chickens! Thankfully, they were all normally shelled eggs, because soft shells have been a problem lately.

I'm confused?!

Every once in a while chickens can last two eggs in one day. It doesn't happen very often though.

LOL.... Trade you.... I have 14 of laying age, 4 are broody, I got 4 eggs yesterday and 3 today.

Maybe my hens are mailing your hens eggs.
