How different is it raising chukars than coturnix quails?

The difference is like night from day! There's really no comparison, except they both require food, water and shelter....other than that, the learning curve to successfully raise chuckers or any partridge is fairly steep compared to quail.

I'd agree with that. Chukar are much less tolerant of mistakes in husbandry.
