I know this sounds silly. But I have watched my chickens and I just don't get it. I come out and they come running up to me. So they must think I have food. I throw something down and they either eat it or act like it is invisible. The stuff they ignore they don't examine, peck at, smell or look at...they just ignore it... This has happened with various colors/sizes of things. I could understand if they looked it over and decided that it wasn't good to eat..but it seems like they don't even see it????
