How do egg laying birds taste?

I never even knew there was a difference between egg laying birds and meat birds until I started reading this forum....

So how do egg laying birds taste? Are they just kinda gamie tasting?

Chickens are generally divided into 2 categories: meat birds, which are raised solely for meat, and dual-purpose birds which are raised for eggs and meat.

I only have dual-purpose birds. The meat is wonderful, not gamey at all. It has much more flavor than the store bought stuff.
