How do I best care for a broody hen?

Two days ago, one of my BOs went broody. We put her in a large dog crate in our garage as an attempt to break her, but changed our minds about breaking her. I put hay in the crate and gave her eggs to sit on. I also mixed in dried mealworms in her food to raise the protein. What can I do to make sure she stays healthy while sitting on her eggs? I don't want her to become thin and unhealthy. Is there anything else I can for her in general? Thanks in advance for any help.

Make sure she has plenty of food and water. She should be fine. Hopefully in 21 days you'll have fuzzy chicks!

Thank you for your reply! She does have access to food and water, and she made her nest close to the feeder so hopefully she is eating.
