How do I catch my hen??

Henrietta is happy to be back in the coop with her girlfriends!
Hubby came home, so we ended up cornering her, and then she decided to let me pick her up- either she was just ready to go back in, or she figured I was trying to help her!
She ran for the water, not the food though, she had stuffed herself with grass, bugs and whatever else she found in my garden!
As I was heading back to the house, I swear I heard her telling the others girls- "We have to find out how to get out there, there's some good eating out there!" lol!

I find it much easier to "herd" my flock with a pool noodle in each hand. This effectively makes each of your arms about seven feet long.
My gals know when they see the pool noodles come out, it's time to go in, get a little chicken food and a long cool drink, and hit the roost.

Fish nets work great, but I'd just let her go in at night. I have a little hen that sees me coming in the evening and flys off. Last night I just didn't feel like going out. Tonight I'm letting them all out right before dusk and I know she'll follow them all in.
