If the `problem' (member/content) appears in a specific thread(s). use the RED FLAG that appears at the bottom LEFT of the the post(s) and report immediately (Moderator can either cure the problem or escalate to the Nifty Chicken as deemed necessary). However, immediate reporting of `trouble' can keep other members from encountering it.

Also if you don't know how to phrase something I have learned to say up front you don't know how to phrase something and if it needs to be cleaned up the moderators will try to re word if necessary and if you phrase it correctly the warning at least if they can't you have alerted others that your comment may be offensive and they may chose not to read it. and sometimes if something you read is offensive because of one or two words you can flag it and ask the word(s) be edited or a warning or whatever needed. I rarely have needed to use a warning, but sometimes it happens.
