How do I cover bald patches?

Hi everyone,

About 2 weeks ago I posted about my girls pecking their sister to death. Four of my girls were injured in this event and had open bleeding lacerations to the area above the cloaca. In a desperate moment I sprayed their bottoms with Blue Kote which in hind site was a big mistake. Now they have purple bottoms that I might as well post a peck me sign on. One of the girls is totally bald in that area but growing new feathers can take a long time and I hate to keep them in thier hospital crates for any longer. The open wounds have healed nicely but the feathers are just not coming in great. two questions 1- how can I get the Blue Kote off the remaining feathers? 2. Is there a cover up spray I can use to cover the bald parts? I would like to get them back in the flock but I don't want to risk another horrid murder. I should add that I added a rooster to the mix a few days ago and he has already put 3 of the bullies in their place.

It is not a PECK HERE SIGN at all. Blue is a color that chickens do not peck at. (in general) RED IS:old
It is recommended to use Blu Kote on wounds, and if it attracted pecking, then it would NOT BE RECOMMENDED. :idunno
Only thing I see for YOUR FLOCK,,, IS TO SEPARATE the mean offenders FROM FLOCK.
I do not have any suggestions for covering the bald spots.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:
