How do I delete the emails in my trash?

I have a lot of emails that I moved to my trash, how do I delete them? Do I have to log out when I leave? I usually stay logged in so I get notifications quicker.

I think we probably just have to wait thirty days for them to disappear. I certainly haven't seen a way to get rid of old messages permanently yet. :/

Yeah, it's really strange but I have had messages come back that I deleted months ago.

Check the box beside the ones you want to delete and at the top click on delete....All of the ones I had deleted before the change over also came back....This is now I deleted mine...

There is no option to delete in the trash folder.

Yeah, you're right. No option for delete in the Trash folder.

So, is anybody addressing this? I really want to be able to delete stuff in my Trash folder.

I have no idea. I also don't know how to get hold of anybody to ask.... For the most part the new website doesn't bother me at all, but not being able to reach help when you need it really sucks.

PM's that were deleted before shouldn't be showing up and we're looking into it.

Regarding an "Empty trash" option: We're looking into it.
