I have just been offered a free 2nd hand chicken coop and run. (See photo attached).
Can someone please tell me if clorox bleach is the best thing to use to disinfect this cage and run before I put my own chickens in this, and at what bleach/water ratio. Also, I have been told that it is rusty, so is it ok to spray paint the wire? Anything I need to be aware of before painting it please?
Oh, and one last question please. How many Brahma chickens do you think will comfortably fit into this coop/run as it is right now. I will be extending it if need be.
