I was wondering if it might be easier/more successful to dry incubate my eggs this time.
Incubator: Hova-Bator 1602n (still air)
Eggs: Muscovy, Banty, Mixed Breed.
It runs at about 55% humidity without adding ANY water, is this okay? is it okay for duck eggs? On day 18 if i add a wet sponge will that be okay for the hatching?
would that harm the duck eggs? or not?
This incubator gave me a lot of problems before, it's a pain trying to hold humidity at a certain % (with water).
ETA: would it be okay to mist the eggs daily?
