How do I free range my chickens with a Fox in the woods??

I don't criticize. I know everyone is different and has different situations. This is my setup. Our land is mostly open pasture. I have lost birds to predators while free ranging and just don't do it anymore but my birds have nice large pens.

My property is surrounded by woods on three out of the four sides and we have always had a problem with foxes but this certain fox keeps coming back so I can’t free range my hens. Normally this would be fine but The hens are out around 9 hours each day and because of the Fox they’re now locked in their run all day and they need to stretch their legs and get fresh greens. Also I don’t have enough time to sit out there and watch them. What should I do to get rid of that Fox?
Congrats @CrazyChicken Lady, your post is featured on our homepage! Did you manage to get rid of that fox?

Sorry, @cmom, my post was not directed at you. I think I accidentantally quoted you, but I was responding to @centrarchid whose posts on this thread are mostly negative.

I purchased a similar, but smaller Australian system that can't hear chickens being slaughtered over the sound of her own snoring.

You bought a Holden instead of a Audi. :p

Surprised actually as Aussie Shepards *usually* have a reputation for solid herder. I guess there are variances in all breeds!
