How Do I Get Chicks in the Coop for the Night?

Wow, it is magic!! Yesterday was the babies 1st full day in the run. I looked out around 7 and didn't see anyone in the run, headed down around 7:30, and sure enough everyone had tucked themselves in for the night. I have a group of smarties!!!

I have two 5 week old chicks that still live in the house because there's nobody out in the run close to thier age. Well, they were free-ranging in the yard all day yesterday and I just totally forgot what time it was, so just before 9pm, there's this LOUD peeping coming from out back. I open the back door and in run a little EE and a little BR! Too cute!

Once it starts to get dark, mine just head for the coop.when I close them up for the night I always tell them GOODNITE LADIES,& close and latch the coop door then lock the run door,since we have lots of critters in the woods Idon't want them to get anywhere near my nice fat ladies.
