How do I get in touch with the people who run Eggbid?

Do you mean Ovabid? I am signed up on that one. Usually don't have as much available but I have bought on there before.

Yes, and I guess one of the issues being, theres no one to help!

Maybe you could try a seance

All conventional methods have failed.

This is so interesting! My husband wanted to order me some Guinea eggs for a Easter gift. So he was being sneaky and went to Egg Bid. He also emailed them with signup issues and hasn't heard back. It has been a couple of weeks now

I tried my first attempt at trying to sell a few of my birds on eggbid and thought it was "the place" to sell birds!

Well, I got not action on my listings(so whatever...no biggy)...but then during the last few minutes of the auction this guy bid $50!!! I was excited until I noticed that his name was "John Doe" and he lived on 123 Mickey Mouse Drive. in FL and to make matters worse his email was slickrick(something) @aol!!!

Well, by him bidding it caused me to have to pay 10% aka:$5 !!!! So after looking into this a little further I noticed that multiple people have dealt with this same guy for over the past year and they have all made the "owners" of eggbid aware of this dude and eggbid has YET to even acknowledge this guy or a least ban him from thier site! I wrote eggbid an email explaining the situation and asking them to please ban this guy and informed them that I would not be paying the additional fee. I told them that if they corrected this problem that I would LOVE to use their site in the future. Well, it's been over a month and I've heard NOTHING back!!! It almost makes me think maybe their in cahoots with this guy or this "guy" is them or maybe the whole DAG on thing is a scam!

I'm not sure but I would LOVE to hear from others who use eggbid and have success with it. Sorry for the rant..I'm usuallu a pretty positive person.

LOL God forbid you complain to them. You'll get a rude response (if any) telling you that if you want good service go elsewhere, this is a hobby. Problem is, when you charge money for a service it is a business.

Maybe people using eggbid should move over to ovabid. I've had no problem with them and looks like they could use more listings. I do use ebay but I think ebay charges more to list so a lot of people only used eggbid or ovabid.

They will not respond. And when that fool, now using the name "flwilly" bids your auction up they will still bill you the fees and expect you to pay them before you can list again. You can get the best price for live birds on EggBid than anywhere else. Case in point, Greenfire recently got close to, if not more than $1000.00 for a pair of silver Sussex. But there is no monitoring of the site and you could be sending money to someone who doesn't even own the bird(s) they are listing. It is a good idea gone very wrong! IMHO.
