how do I get into poultry shows?

I have three OEGB hens and all look really good I think, how do I find poultry shows???

subscribe to the poultry press. If your having a chicken show and don;t post it in the press you aren't really having a show.

Get in touch with the show secretary and get a show catalog. Some have online forms you can print out to send in. Usually the deadline for having your entries in will be 2-3 weeks ahead of the show date. Also, you will have to have the birds tested, the shows usually require you send that info in with your entry.
