How do I get my broody out of the nest?

I have a hen that has gone broody I think. She hasn't left the nest box for 3 days now. Problem is, I have no roosters. These are unfertilized eggs, and her sisters are getting really mad, because she is hogging the box. How do I get her out? My nest box is a 5 gal bucket, so there is no "back door". Any help? I don't want the eggs she is sitting on to go bad being outside too long. There are probably 8-9 under her right now.

Most broodies are more bluff than bite, but some can peck pretty hard. Long sleeves and gloves may be a pretty good idea.

I have no rooster either. When my hens go broody I just pick them up and put them outside. I wear gloves if needed. Then I collect all the eggs. Walla... Broodiness gone. At least until the next time.

Kristen, I got her out, cleaned out the nest, got all 14(!) eggs, and she climbed right back in the bucket.

I'm gonna try the crate thing to break her. wish me luck!
