I have two Dominques, there are 11 eggs on the nest and neither of them will set them. Should I leave them on the nest or put them in the bator?

welcome to BYC. Glad to see someone from backhome way. I have cousins in Fulton, you my know Shirley Davis. I know Scotty McCarthy
from Mantachie. I hatched 7 Dominique in my frist setiing in bartor,
have eggs under hen due Mar. 17. 33 eggs in bartor now, 21 are
Dominique. Go to the online poultry show , Dominique contest , you
can see my birds.
Good luck with your hatch.

I would put them in the bator, if they are not acting broody now they probably won't any time soon. Good luck!

Thank you. I guess I will put them in the bator and let you know what happens. I was raised in Fulton most of my life. I am kin to half of Itawamba county. Moore, Roberts, and Box.

Everything I read online said they are good brooders. That is one of the reasons we wanted them. If I had known then what I know now I would have bought more hens.
