How do I get my humidity down?

its cold here in KY should the hum still be 40-50%

something i have done is taking a "rice donut" which is a bisked piece of clay in an "o" shape like a donut, and it absorbs the moisture reallllly well ! they are called rice donuts because you put them in rice bags to keep the moisture out. something else you could do is use a chunk from a clay pot, like one of those teracotta pots, unused ofcorse. hope that helps !!! it worked VERY VERY well for me
