How do I get my humidity lower?

Right now my humidity is about 76 %. I put the eggs in last night, so I know it needs to be lower. And I filled the little slots in the bottom of the bator full of water. So what else can I do to lower it?

Humidity is raised or lower by the surface area of the water. Depth of the water doesn't matter as far as I can tell just surface area. My bator has 4 sections that can be filled with water, when my humidity is too high I remove the water in one section and see where my level goes. If it's still too high, remove another section until it's at the reading I need it to be. Hope this helps, Sharon

I have found using wet cotton balls has helped this time with regulating the humidity.
