How do I get rid of my cat's stiffness?

My sister had a 27 year old horse that she gave the glucosamine (for horses) and it made a world of difference. Sunny had arthritis in her front shoulders pretty bad and had trouble even getting up until my sister started the glucosamine.

For anyone who may be curious, I have been using the Cosequin for about 2 months now and it has done wonders! Everyone in my family has noticed a change in Kit (especially my younger brother, who always seems to pet her wrong and gets her angry). She's less grumpy and has even gotten friskier, not that she's ever been very frisky. She doesn't complain about pain anymore and she really enjoys her daily supplement-laced yogurt, though I have to leave it out for a day or two to "ripen" to her likeness, silly cat. I want to thank everyone for your suggestions, experiences, and information - it all really helped and worked together to make a happier, healthier Kit.
