Depending on where you want to attach the hardware cloth you may need to drill a bunch of small holes to allow the zip tie through. I need more info about where you want to use this.

You basically need to place a plastic zip tie every couple of inches around the perimiter of what you want to cover.

If you have a wooden structure you can use staples instead of plastic wire ties. In fact that will work better. A hand stable gun can be purchased for about $20 at any hardware store & they will hold pretty good.

Just cut the cloth to the shape of your opening & staple away.

I plan on using the "U" shaped nails...not sure of their exact name....but I've used in on an indoor dog kennel in the basement, and I can not grab the fencing and pull one of these nails out. I think they are pretty cheap......that's what I'm gonna use.

I stapled mine as the first method of keeping it from snapping back and slashing my arms more than it already did when I unrolled it.

Then, I used screws with flat washers to secure it to the coop. Raccoons aren't going to be able to pull THAT down.

What exactly are you trying to attach it to?

I use a staple gun to attach the hardware cloth, then I go back and attach these 1 1/2"x1/8" aluminum strips with screws. I drill holes every few inches and cut them to fit the particular area. I bought 10,000' of the strips at an auction(cheap). They are 16' long. Works great.
