How do I increase humidity?

I have the moister ring filled with water and both vents closed. The humidity level is at 32. How do I increase it?

get yourself a digital hygrometer and double check your readings -- if that readings is still low, place a warm, damp sponge in the bator

i wet paper cartons and my humidity gets right up there.

I've got a similar problem as well...I have a sponge in my water and the humidity is slowly rising, I'm at 24% from 22%...and I'm in Gwinnett County Georgia....all vents closed as well, no fa...,but I'm experimenting with a laboratory incubator 2 cu. ft. stainless inside.

Also, a few things to remember.

Those incuators are very difficult to manage the humidity. It is vital that you do not open it once the humidity has risen. With forced air the humidity will rise quite fast when the lid is closed, still air takes forever.

If you are still having problems after the above tips, you might want to raise the relative humidity in the room the incubator is in, gives the incubator much less work to do.

I have to open it 4 X a day to turn eggs​

the incubator I have is a professional laboratory incubator....$2,200 new, stainless steal inside, 2" insulated walls, 2 doors, one being glass to view interior, doors seal perfectly....I'm at 24 % Radio Shack
I'm about ready to throw the bath towel in....

I found the answer......relative humidity here in Atlanta is 35%....check your local weather....also I have placed a warm wah cloth in the unit....2 cu.ft. incubator....and I'm boiling water on the stove.....hard boiled egg anyone?
Now I will wait and see....tick, tick, tick....
It's better to find these things out before incubating precious eggs.

Ok I added a wet rag and the humidity went up to 50%
