How do I introduce my new new keets to my older ones

I am new to guineas. My first guineas (7 of them) are just going on 16 weeks. First of all about 2 weeks ago at 14 weeks, eggs started showing up, one in the coop, one on a garden wall and yesterday I found a nest in the woods with one egg. I though my guineas were too young to lay eggs.

Friday I got 6 more babies that are 5 weeks old. My older birds free range during the day and come back to their coop to be locked up at night. I have these new babies still in a dog crate and I have been taking them outside on the grass in the crate during the day and letting the older group check them out.

Just through the crate it seems like the older ones are very aggressive. One of the females, the one I found in the nest yesterday seems the most aggressive to them. She circles the cage and tries to bite through the bars.

My idea was to connect my two big dog crates together and put that in the coop with the babies so they share space? How do I let them mingle together that first time? How long should I wait for that? I will probably keep the babies inside with me another night or two so I can work on taming them more before I move them out to the coop.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

I don't think she was trying to be aggressive at all, she was probably just wanting to get them out of their so they could come out and play.
Guineas seem to be more family-oriented than most birds that I have seen.
