How do I introduce new chicks to a broody hen?

I am new to the chicken breeding scene. I got a rooster by accident and figured he should earn his keep. I let a broody set the eggs but that didn't work. So I put a bunch in an incubator (that worked!) and I now have 9 chicks. Can I give them to a broody hen, and if so what is the best way to go about it? I set up a separate maternity pen so I could keep momma and chicks together until they get some size.

Introduce them as soon as you can do it at night while she is sleepy and slip them under her she may accept them or not because mine accepted one and killed the other

At night, slip them under her. She will (hopefully) think she hatched some babies out of thin air.

Do I do this in the main coop? There are 35 hens and 1 rooster.....

No it would be safer to separate her and then do it but wait till she's settled in to her cozy spot
