how do i introduce OLDER chicks to my "flock"

We have 14 chicks 7 week olds (only 9 are mine the rest are going elsewhere) and i have 2 started pullets on their way in 2 weeks that i Got from murray mcmurray. My 14 will be 10 weeks and the new chicks (2) will be 17 weeks old.

I am a total chicken newb what do I need to do to make them all be ok together?

One rule is to wait until each group of chickens is the same size as the other. Smaller ones always get picked on.

My husband and I have been introducing our pullets to the older hens by putting them in cages and setting them in the pin with the other. this way the older ones get use to them. After a few hours we let them out and watch them for another couple of hours. Seems to work fine for us.
