I just moved my chicks into the main coop, but my fully grown chickens keep eating the chick feed... how do i prevent this?????????

Also make sure you have multiple feeders, and maybe a barrier so that the chicks can eat in mostly peace. A hide out where they can eat without the birds at the main feed station can not see them.

My hens ate the same feed as my chicks/ pullets. I still feed the chick starter, oyster shell on the side and everyone lays regularly.

I put a wire cage over the chicks feed hat the big girls cannot get through. The chicks can get to it freely, I feed game bird chow for growth and feathers. I do feed it to the big girls when they need more than what they get from the pasture.

I too feed and all flock type feed with OS in a separate container.

I have an outdoor brooder. When the doors are opened, the chicks can choose either the adult all flock I feed everyone else or the grower they have in the brooder. Sometimes older chicks re-enter the brooder after they have been evicted and help themselves to the grower, but they can benefit still from that anyway and the little chicks still get enough.
The doors are on either end.
