How do i keep my free range girls in my yard ?

If you do clip, make sure their roosts are low enough for them to easily get up and down with their clipped wings.

Clip one side of the wing. if the roost is higher than 3ft. provide a ladder.

Like others said, it depends on the breed, how heavy and how flighty the birds are. With new birds I clip their flight feathers on one wing, like said. Certain breeds I never had any luck keeping in my 6 foot fence- so I am interested to read all the responses.
