Ok - a couple of pictures of Fat Albert (the new rooster) as requested...

I let one of my neighbors roosters in with my hens felt sorry for him she had 5 of them and only a few hens they would beat up on him. Then him and my eldest hen started hanging up on my hens and actually stressed one out so bad she died. So we got rid of him . There is no good reason for me to ever want another. And now one of the other ones keep comming over . We let our dogs chase it off and keeps comming back. Our girls are enclosed . I'm just hoping he realizes he can't get anywhere and goes away . Might just have to get a BB gun.

I just got a roo 2 weeks ago to free range with my ladies and now every rooster in the neighborhood comes to my house. One of my hens left with one of these tresspassing bad boys today.. hope she comes back

Do not count on it. If you sex ratio is skewed strongly towards female and her new bow has good cover, roost site and nest site she will move out. Show us a picture of the bow. I have a neighbor with a similar issue going on where his single rooster is trying to steal hens from another neighbor's flock.

I only have 6 hens and a roo. The new trespassing rooster just showed up today. She's my favorite gen

Roosters cannot impregnate hens, the egg only becomes fertilized, and it takes a day or more of the right temps etc to make the fertilized egg begin to form a baby inside.

I recommend building a coop or fencing off the yard if you have not. As for the roosters coming over - its your property so I get it, but the Roos are great at warning the hens of dangerous vermin. I think perhaps you could try telling your neighbor that you don't want the roosters mating your hens, that's all you can do really.

Cluckhaven ought to be able to have her own property without the neighbor using it without permission to graze his own animals. It isn't about whether or not the roosters are doing any harm. At issue is property rights and invasive inconsiderate neighbors who think they own and are free to use anything and everything that falls within their line of sight.

If people feel strongly they don't want animals straying onto their property... then they must take RESPONSIBILITY and build a fence to stop this.

If people have no fence or walls to a property, then they have no right to start getting upset when creatures wander onto it...... Animals do not care about human land ownership or property boundaries.
