How do I kill my chicken and stop her suffering

I've spent over $700 on my chicken in the last couple of months but she is old and dying. Now she can't move at all. I don't like seeing her suffer and can't afford to go to the vet to put her down as they charged $180 for my last chicken. How do I kill her without suffering?
I have panadine forte, will that works on chickens?

The best way to humanly put her down, is decapitation. With a pare of sharp scissors, or am ax and a stump with 2 nails nailed in about and inch apart, it will go quickly, and painlessly. Other ways are cervical dislocation, and the broomstick method. You have to be very confeden with the broomstick method, and cervical dislocation, so decapitation is probably best. I am so sorry about your hen!
