my leghorn is a roo? he/she is 9 weeks today. her watcha ma call it (having a brain fart) on top of her head is huge. all my other chicks don't have combs yet. all same age but each a different breed. could she be a roo ir do leghorns just mature real fast? when should i expect to know if she's a he? and if she IS a he, when can he go to freezer camp? i can't have any roos. i'd put a pic on but for some reason i can't. any help would be great. thanks

Is the comb red or yellow? My leghorns had big combs at that age, but they were (and still are, at 14 weeks) yellow. If it's a big red comb at nine weeks, my guess is gonna be roo. See if you can get a picture!

ok, i tried putting the pic on, but once i got to the paste part, i'm lost. and now i'm very fustrated

so the color of the comb looks pinkish maybe turning red (not sure though) and the tips are yellow.
