how do i know what golden seabrights are male or female

is there any way i can tell at 3 days old what sex my chicks are. i got it through a hatchery and they may have sent me all males through a "mixed deal package" i was told thats how hatcherys get rid of there un wanted males..any help would be appreacated... i can post pictures if needed

At this point they are so young that anything would simply be a guess. Post pictures when they are older. Very small bantams are difficult to vent sex so it is doubtful that the hatchery purpousely sent all cockerels.

At this age anything would just be a guess. Bantams (especially very small chicks like sebrights) are very difficult to vent sex; therefore, it is very unlikely that the hatchery purposely sent all male chicks.

Sebrights come unsexed because no hatchery will sex bantams. They also do not develop the pointy hackle and tail feathers that other males develop, so it may take awhile to tell. I have 2 myself that are 4-5 weeks old, and I'm still wondering.

When I use to keep Sebrights by 2 weeks you could tell hens from roosters, the pullets comb would stay black until laying age while the roos got pink and then red. By 2 weeks it was always very obvious.

But then again I had the show type and the comb is a nice dark colour in the hens, the hatchery birds are probably lighter skinned then the standard calls for.
