Hello, Iam new to all of this, so need advice. I put my hens eggs in the incubator on the 13th of April. We candled them a couple of days ago, well Iam not sure what they are suppose to look like. Ive tried this once before, and they never hatched by the 23rd day, so we threw them out. I really want this bunch to turn out, well at least I will feel better about all of this. So any advise will help. O ya I temp is at 99 or 100, and the humidity is 50.

Thanks so much, and have a good day:)

I am new to everything to do with chickens, had ducks as a kid but am now triing to hatch two chicken eggs. Do to city limits we can only have 3 hens and my very very small incubator. We are on day 22 and a nervous wreck! We discovered that we put part of the incubator in wrong! We are afraid that when and if they hatch they will roll off onto the light! Would like to fix the problem but am afraid to open the incubator. We have only seen very small movements from 1 egg and even heard 1 chirp come from the same one but no pip or anything since yest! Did it die? :/

Hi there and welcome to BYC. With my first hatch they decided to come on day 22 & 23 and the first one to pip was the last out! If you can here chirping then i would leave them. Sit tight i know its hard lol.. Your temp & humidity are fine too.. If you have a cradle have you swithed it off? Keep us posted..:D
