How do I make a Saline solution to heal her eye?

Just for grins I just weighed one teaspoon of salt and on my scale it's 6.5 grams.
I used a hospital medicine cup with a teaspoonful mark, LOL, and got 9 grams. Yes it is time we all go metric, but here in the US, many are still stubborn. That is why it is good to have your location on your avatar so we know which language to use, LOL.

No, but most people don't have gram scales. :D
In the US ......
And this is for you:

Just to make sure, do I drop the saline directly into the eye? Also, how much saline do I put on the eye?
Hi, i have a rooster named Kickster in the same situation :/ i have given him antibiotics today which was his first dose. Today both of his eyes had gone really bad over night, now i want to make a saline solution to help him until the antibiotics begin to work.

Just wondering did it work for you? Also how did u apply the saline solution and how much to the eye?

Thanks for any help i appreciate it!

Hi Andy
This is an old thread.
If you're not interested in starting your own thread, then please post photos of your rooster, his symptoms, how long he's been sick, what antibiotics you are using and anything else you can think of that may be helpful.

Eyes gone really bad overnight? Do you mean he has pus/bubbles? Has he gone blind?
Saline can be used to flush out/clean eyes. Applying to the eyes? Well, you would pull the eye open and rinse/flush the eye open...use as much a needed.
