How do I prepare my bird's behavior for the state fair?

Whenever I ask someone this question they always tell me all about the grooming for my chickens in the fair. But i would like to know about how I can train my chicken for the judging in the fair and if i should keep my chickens in a crate before hand to make them more comfortable while they are there. Or anything in that category!

couldnt hurt my bird live breeding cages and my extra boy love 24\\24 inch cages once they start fighting
