How do I protect my cats from coyotes?

Well, we don't really live in a neighborhood. Our closest neighbor is 3 miles away. My other worry is our one does neighbor feed this crazy stray cat that used to come and fight with Sam and Oliver. Oliver once got a nasty infection from that thing. It bit my little sister once too, but she was trying to pet him. Our cats never went to their house though.

Bringing a outside cat in at a certain time doesn't work. If you let them out it's not IF the coyote will get them it's when. And there is ALWAYS a when. Don't do it ... period. If you want your cats to have outside access build a catio. If you want them to stay alive keep them in. The coyote already know you're a food source.
