how do I sex 6 week old Rhode Island Whites???

Are they single combed (hatchery stock and not actually RIW's) or rose combed? If they're single combed, you should detect the males quite easily by now; They'll have larger, more pinkish red colored combs.

Rose-combed are a little harder, but still, you should see a slight reddening to the comb, and a possibility of a more defined surface of bumps as well.
