How do I tame my wild BA's ?

I bought eight Blk. Australorps from a local farm store. They get their chicks from Hoover hatchery. From day-one they were
wild and jumpy. They are not as bad now, as I've tried to hand feed them treats. What is the best way to tame them down?

Food and them being accustom to you. Even with this many are still skittish until laying. They calm with age and handling/being with them. I use treats in conjunction with whistling to train them to come to me by whistle alone.
